Product description
The Eaf Filling Sand is a special sand material designed for the electric arc furnace (EAF) smelting process. It is widely use the steel, metallurgy and other industries, mainly for filling the bottom and wal the electric arc furnaces.

Feature
Excellent high-temperature resistance
The Eaf Filling Sand uses high melting point ore materials and can work stably at extremely high temperatures. The filling sand can withstand temperatures up to 1600°C, while the furnace temperature of the electric arc furnace usually reaches more than 1500°C, so it can effectively avoid melting and damage of materials at high temperatures.
Excellent corrosion resistance
Our products have enhanced resistance to chemical media through special treatment. Generally speaking, the corrosion resistance of our products is more than 30% higher than that of traditional filling sand.
Thermal shock stability
Our products have good thermal shock resistance and will not crack or break in an environment with high temperatures and rapid rise and fall. Secondly, compared with ordinary materials, the crack incidence rate of our products when subjected to temperature changes is 30% lower, which greatly reduces the risk of damage caused by thermal shock.
Improve smelting efficiency
Our products not only have good physical properties but also can significantly improve the smelting efficiency of electric arc furnaces. Secondly, after using our products, the smelting efficiency has increased by about 10%-15%, which makes the energy efficiency of electric arc furnaces more optimized and reduces energy consumption.
