Product description
The High Purity Calcined Bauxite is a high-quality mineral processed by a high-temperature calcination process. Its main component is alumina (Al₂O₃), with a content usually between 75% and 90%. The calcination process removes moisture and impurities, optimizes physical and chemical properties, and makes it an important raw material in industrial production.
Feature
High temperature stability
The High Purity Calcined Bauxite have extremely high temperature stability and can reach a refractoriness of more than 1780°C. This performance is due to the fact that the main component, aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃), contains more than 75% of aluminum oxide, which is not easy to decompose or deform in high temperature environments.
Chemical erosion resistance
Our products have excellent chemical erosion resistance and are highly resistant to both acidic and alkaline media. This performance is due to its dense structure and low water absorption rate (generally less than 3%), which greatly reduces the risk of penetration of external corrosive substances.
Extended service life
Our products have a Mohs hardness of up to 9, which makes them extremely wear-resistant. This property is particularly important in the application of abrasives and wear-resistant materials.
Improved refractoriness
The main component of our products is aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃), which usually contains between 75% and 90%. This high content of aluminum oxide significantly improves its refractoriness and can reach a refractoriness of more than 1700°C.
