Introduction Of High Temperature Kiln For Firing Refractory Brick

There are several kinds of high temperature kiln for firebrick firing, such as tunnel kiln, shuttle kiln, inverted flame kiln, etc., the following is a brief introduction to the more common kiln.

1. Tunnel kiln
Tunnel kiln is a continuous firing equipment commonly used to fire building materials ceramics, ordinary refractory materials and other products. With the development of high temperature and ultra-high temperature tunnel kiln, it has become a kiln for firing special refractory materials.

 

Tunnel kiln is a countercurrent thermal equipment. There are pre-tropical zone, firing zone and cooling zone along the long direction of the kiln. According to the product type and process requirements: there are two types of ordinary tunnel kiln and high temperature tunnel kiln.

 

2. Inverted flame kiln

Inverted flame kiln is a kind of intermittent firing equipment, from the structure, there are two kinds of circular kiln or square kiln. Circular kiln is the main type of inverted flame kiln with large volume. Due to the use of coal solid fuel, the firing temperature is 1500-1600 ℃. The smaller volume of the reverse flame kiln is mainly square kiln, due to the use of high-energy, clean heavy oil, diesel, natural gas or liquefied gas and other fuels, the firing temperature can reach 1600 ~ 1800℃, and the fired products will not constitute a source of pollution.

 

Figure 2-33 shows the structure and air flow route of the inverted flame kiln. The uniformity of the temperature distribution in the kiln can be achieved by adjusting the kiln loading method, that is, adjusting the width of the fire passage and the density of the kiln.

 

3. Shuttle kiln

Shuttle kiln is a kind of inverted flame kiln with kiln car. With heavy oil, diesel oil, liquefied petroleum gas, natural gas as fuel, the firing temperature can reach 1800℃. Because the products are fired in the kiln car, the turnover rate of the kiln car can be improved to achieve the purpose of increasing production capacity.

 

Gas-fired shuttle kiln is the use of natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas as fuel, which is characterized by small footprint, complete combustion, high utilization of heat energy and good product quality.

4. High temperature test furnace

Gas type high temperature test furnace in Japan using natural gas and petroleum liquefied gas as gas fuel.

 

5. Electric high temperature furnace
