Application
In iron and steel smelting industry, synthetic cordierite are widely used in blast furnaces and hot blast furnaces. The addition of cordierite to the graphite containing refractory (carbonite-cordierite refractory) can make the performance of the carbonization furnace better, the furnace temperature is higher, the furnace life is longer.
Synthetic cordierite is also used in the cement industry, and its thermal resistance and chemical stability play an important role in the long-term use of refractory bricks, kiln shells and other equipment.
