Baking of refractory cement
When baking refractory cement lining, the following matters must be paid attention to:
1) At 350 degrees at room temperature, it is most likely to cause local burst, and special attention should be paid to slow baking. If there is still a lot of steam emerging after 350 degrees of insulation, the temperature rise should still be slowed down.
2) Under the condition of poor ventilation and water vapor is not easy to discharge, the holding time should be properly extended.
3) When baking with heavy oil, it is necessary to prevent heavy oil from spraying on the lining surface to prevent local explosion.
4) When using wood to bake, direct contact with the flame often causes local heating too fast, should be protected.
5) For the newly poured and rammed refractory cement, it can be baked at least after 3d.
6) The cooling of refractory cement lining should also be slow to avoid forced ventilation.
Technical requirements
1. Fineness: The finer the cement particles, the larger the specific surface area, the faster and fuller the hydration reaction, and the higher the early and late strength. State regulations: the specific surface area should be greater than 300 square meters/kg, otherwise it is unqualified.
2. Setting time: In order to ensure that there is sufficient time to complete various processes such as mixing, transportation and molding during construction, the initial setting time of cement should not be too short; After the construction is completed, it is hoped that the cement can harden as soon as possible and produce strength, so the final setting time should not be too long. The initial setting time of Portland cement should not be earlier than 45 minutes, and the final setting time should not be later than 390 minutes.
3. Volume stability: The uniformity of the volume change of cement slurry during the setting and hardening process is called the volume stability of cement. If the volume change is not uniform, the volume stability is poor, easy to produce warping and cracking, reduce the quality of the project and even accidents.
