Lightweight refractory castable has the characteristics of high strength, small bulk density, low thermal conductivity, good thermal insulation performance and convenient construction, and such insulation refractories is applied to the heat insulation parts of various kilns.

Low-temperature insulation (lightweight) refractory castable, operating temperature is 600~900C;
Medium temperature insulating (lightweight) refractory castable, operating temperature is 900-1200C;
High-temperature insulation (lightweight) refractory castables, operating temperature >1200C

Application of insulating castable material
Insulating castable material are mainly used for the lining of thermal equipment such as thermal insulation layers of high-temperature industrial kilns. The material has the advantages of moderate strength and good thermal insulation performance. Since lightweight insulation castables are powdery and granular refractory materials made from certain refractory materials such as alumina and added with some binders, and have high fluidity, they are mainly formed by pouring in construction. The aggregates of lightweight thermal insulation castables are made from a wide range of materials and can be made into lightweight thermal insulation castables with lower volume density and higher performance through a series of processes.
