Product description
Insulating castable refractory are mainly made of lightweight refractory aggregates, powders, and binder admixtures.
insulating castable refractory can be divided into: according to volume density:
Semi-light insulation castable, bulk density is 1.0~1.8g/cm³;
Lightweight refractory castable, bulk density is 0.4~1.0g/cm³;
Ultra-light refractory castable with a bulk density of less than 0.4g/cm³.
The smaller the density, the better the thermal insulation performance, and the higher the price.

Classification of insulating castable refractory
Insulating castable refractory classified by operating temperature can be divided into three categories:
Low-temperature insulation (lightweight) refractory castable, operating temperature is 600~900C;
Medium temperature insulating (lightweight) refractory castable, operating temperature is 900-1200C;
High-temperature insulation (lightweight) refractory castables, operating temperature >1200C.
