Insulating castable refractory cement are mainly made of lightweight refractory aggregates, powders, and binder admixtures.
Insulation castables can be divided into: according to volume density:
Semi-light insulation castable, bulk density is 1.0~1.8g/cm³;
Lightweight refractory castable, bulk density is 0.4~1.0g/cm³;
Ultra-light refractory castable with a bulk density of less than 0.4g/cm³.
The smaller the density, the better the thermal insulation performance, and the higher the price.

Application of insulating castable refractory cement
Insulating castable refractory cement commonly used as linings of kilns, thermal equipment, flues and smoke windows in industrial sectors such as metallurgical machinery, petrochemicals, electric power and building materials.
