With the reform and improvement of continuous casting technology and functional refractory materials, zirconia nozzle are most commonly used in many countries. According to the different content of zirconium oxide in the tundish nozzle, the tundish nozzle can be divided into two categories: ordinary tundish nozzle and zirconia type tundish nozzle. The content of ZrO2 in the zirconium inlay of the ordinary sizing nozzle is less than 85%; the ZrO2 content in the zirconium inlay of the zirconia type sizing nozzle is greater than 85%.
Due to different production processes, ordinary tundish nozzle can be divided into four types: fully homogeneous sizing nozzles, direct composite sizing nozzles, vibration forming sizing nozzles and inlaid sizing nozzles.

Good erosion resistance and corrosion resistance, good thermal shock stability, no bursting during use, long service life, and the use time can reach more than 20 hours.
