Product description
Corundum castable can generally be prepared in cement-containing (LCC and ULCC) or cementless (NCC) compositions depending on the application requirements. The former uses cement or cement and active ultrafine powder as binder, while the latter uses active ultrafine powder as binder. At the same time, high efficiency surface activator (high efficiency dispersant and water reducer) was added to disperse binder and active filler to reduce water consumption.
In corundum castable, the amount of binder, active filler and additive is very small, but they are very important complementary three components, indispensable. The selection of each component becomes a key factor in controlling the rheological properties of corundum refractory castables. The selection standard is to ensure that the corresponding corundum refractory castable can meet the requirements of construction performance. This can be achieved by optimizing the additives (highly effective dispersants and water reducers). For example, multiple additives (compound additives) can be added, each with a different function to change the rheological properties of the corundum refractory castable.
